Clay L. Courts

Clay Courts has found success in his career through his entrepreneurial spirit and his ability to identify and expand operating companies. Clay began his career as a Vice President at the Atlantic Investment Company and Atlantic Realty Company. He focused on managing their real estate holdings as well as their public and private equity holdings. Through his management of various residential, retail and office real estate assets, such as the historic Hurt Building (a 436,000 square foot Class-A office building), Clay developed a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

In 2000, Clay co-founded ExecuCourt: Private Office Suites, an executive office suite business, and developed over 75,000 square feet of office space integrated with a variety of technology solutions. ExecuCourt achieved success by serving small and regional business owners at competitive rates with a high degree of customer service. After the sale of the Hurt Building and ExecuCourt in 2007, Clay partnered with Jerry Harrison to co-found Five Stand Capital. Their goal was to expand on their past experience and success of growing businesses through operational excellence.

Clay graduated from Roanoke College with a BAA.
